Reports & data
Run and compare financial reports
Choose dates and accounting basis, then investigate the details.
Check report settings
Open Reports and choose the company, date range and accounting basis offered by that report. Use the same settings when comparing periods or exported reports.
Read the three main views
Profit & Loss explains period performance; Balance Sheet shows assets, liabilities and equity as of a date; cash reports explain cash activity. These views answer different questions.
Investigate a number
Use the report’s detail or drill-down links to inspect the entries behind a result. Missing or uncoded transactions and timing differences can affect what you see.
Share carefully
Review company and date settings before downloading or sending a report. Share it only with people authorized to receive that company’s financial information.
