Getting started
I&S Accounting Services keeps your books in LedgerHub. This page walks through setting up your login, getting in quickly afterwards, and sending us the documents we ask for.
1. Your invitation
You’ll get an email from us with a button to set up your account. Open it and choose your own password — we don’t set one for you, and nobody at the firm can see the one you pick.
The link works once and expires after seven days. If it’s expired or already used, just ask us to send a fresh one — there’s no penalty for needing a resend.
2. Signing in
Go to ledgerhub.iandsaccountingsvcs.com and enter your email and password. Then there’s a second step, because your financial records sit behind it:
- By default we email you a short numeric code — type it in and you’re through.
- If you’ve set up Face ID, Touch ID or an authenticator app, you’ll use that instead — it’s faster.
- On your own computer or phone, tick “trust this device” and we’ll stop asking for the second step on that device for 30 days. Don’t tick it on a shared or public machine.
3. Make it faster — turn on Face ID or a passkey
Once you’re in, you can add a passkey — Face ID, Touch ID, or a security key. After that, signing in is a single tap with no password and no emailed code. It’s both the quickest option and the most secure, because there’s no password left to guess or reuse.
4. What you’ll see
You see your own books and nothing else — your reports, your invoices, your documents. If we keep books for more than one of your companies, you can switch between them from the same login.
Most client logins are set up to view and download rather than to post entries, so the books stay reconciled to what we’ve reviewed. If you’d rather be able to enter things yourself, tell us and we can switch it on.
5. Sending us documents
When we need something from you — a bank statement, a receipt, a signed form — we raise a request, and you’ll find it waiting on the Documents page with a note about what it’s for. Upload the file straight onto the request and it reaches us immediately.
That’s better than email for anything sensitive: the file lands directly in your own books rather than sitting in an inbox, and we both keep a record of what was sent and when.
6. If you get stuck
Write to us at [email protected] and we’ll sort it out — a forgotten password, a login that won’t take, a report that doesn’t look right.
One thing worth knowing: we will never ask you for your password or for a sign-in code, by email, phone or message. If anyone asks — including someone who appears to be us — don’t give it out, and tell us.
