This Privacy Policy explains how I&S Accounting Services (I&S ACCOUNTING SVCS, LLC), operator of LedgerHub at ledgerhub.iandsaccountingsvcs.com (“we”, “us”, “our”), collects, uses, and protects information when you use the service.

LedgerHub is used by accounting-firm staff and by clients granted access to view or upload to their own books. This policy covers both.

• Account and contact details — your name, email, and role.
• Financial records you enter or import — chart of accounts, transactions, invoices, bills, and documents.
• Bank and card activity you choose to connect through Plaid.
• Payment information processed through Stripe and PayPal — we receive confirmations and metadata, not full card numbers.
• Usage and log data — IP address, device and browser information, and actions taken — used for security and reliability.

• To provide bookkeeping and reporting services and operate the application.
• To authenticate you and keep accounts secure.
• To process invoice payments you initiate.
• To communicate with you — statements, service notices, and support.
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your financial data for advertising.

When you connect a financial account, the connection is handled by Plaid Inc. You provide your credentials to Plaid, not to us, and we receive read-only access through Plaid. Plaid’s handling of your data is governed by Plaid’s end-user privacy policy.

Invoice payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal under their own privacy policies. We receive confirmation and reconciliation details, not your full card number.

Optional AI features use the Anthropic API to suggest transaction categories and answer questions about your books. They operate over a limited, read-only set of your reports, and data sent for these features is not used to train models. You can choose not to use these features.

We share data only with the service providers needed to run LedgerHub — listed, with their compliance, on our Security page. We may also disclose information where required by law.

We retain your records while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and accounting retention requirements. On request or at offboarding, we can export and then delete your data, subject to those retention obligations.

You can access and export your books at any time. Depending on where you live, applicable state or federal privacy laws may give you rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To make a request, contact us at [email protected].

LedgerHub is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16.

We may update this policy. We will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify account owners.
