Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how I&S ACCOUNTING SVCS, LLC, operator of LedgerHub at ledgerhub.iandsaccountingsvcs.com (“we”, “us”, “our”), collects, uses, and protects information when you use the service.
Who this applies to
LedgerHub is used by accounting-firm staff, clients granted access to their own books, and workspace owners and members where self-service registration is enabled. This policy covers those users.
Information we collect
- Account and contact details — your name, email, and role.
- Financial records you enter or import — chart of accounts, transactions, invoices, bills, and documents.
- Bank and card activity you choose to connect through Plaid.
- Payment information processed through Stripe and PayPal — we receive confirmations, metadata and partial payment-method details, not full card numbers.
- Usage and log data — IP address, device and browser information, and actions taken — used for security and reliability.
How we use information
- To provide bookkeeping and reporting services and operate the application.
- To authenticate you and keep accounts secure.
- To process invoice payments you initiate.
- To communicate with you — statements, service notices, and support.
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your financial data for advertising.
Bank account information (Plaid)
When you connect a financial account, the connection is handled by Plaid Inc. You provide your credentials to Plaid, not to us, and we receive read-only access through Plaid. Plaid’s handling of your data is governed by Plaid’s end-user privacy policy.
Payments (Stripe & PayPal)
Invoice payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal under their own privacy policies. We receive confirmation and reconciliation details, not your full card number.
Early-access list
If you join our early-access list from our website, we keep the email address, name and company you give, your survey answers, your consent and the early-access offer, the time you joined, and the country your connection comes from (as our network provider reports it). We store a one-way, keyed fingerprint of your IP address to stop spam, never the address itself. We use this only to plan our launch and, with your consent, to email you when trials open. We never sell it. Ask us at the contact below and we will delete your entry.
AI features
When configured and used, these optional AI features send data to the Anthropic API:
- Bank-feed categorization: Transaction descriptions and amounts, chart-of-accounts entries, vendor and customer names, classes, and examples of how the company coded previous transactions are sent to suggest coding.
- Ask your books: Your question and conversation history, company context, and the report or ledger results retrieved to answer the question are sent to generate an answer. The reporting tools available to the assistant are read-only.
- Vendor-bill extraction: The complete bill image you select, including text and personal or financial information visible in it, is sent to extract proposed vendor-reference, date, amount and line-item fields.
- Bank-document reading: The complete image or PDF you select for AI reading is sent to extract payer or payee, date, amount and check-reference details from checks, receipts, bills and statements for matching and coding bank transactions.
Document extraction sends the selected file contents, not just report totals. You can enter and review records without using AI. Anthropic describes API content as excluded from model training by default in its commercial data-use policy. Provider retention and any account-specific arrangements are separate from that training policy.
Sharing & subprocessors
The following service providers and optional connected services process data to operate LedgerHub. Optional services apply when the relevant connection or feature is configured and used. Our Security page describes the app’s technical controls. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Data retention
We retain your records while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and accounting retention requirements. On request or at offboarding, we can export and then delete your data, subject to those retention obligations.
Uploaded-file backups are stored separately in Cloudflare R2. Deleting a file from the app does not automatically delete its backup copy or archived versions; backup deletion is a separate retention operation.
Your choices & rights
You can access and export your books at any time. Depending on where you live, applicable state or federal privacy laws may give you rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To make a request, contact us at info@iandsaccountingsvcs.com.

We protect your information using the measures described on our Security page.
Children
LedgerHub is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify account owners.
